Pi Consulting (Trustee Services) Ltd establishes Trust Corporation status

Pi Consulting has recently established Trust Corporation status for their trustee services. There are currently few genuine Trust Corporations, given their need to be capitalised in a way that conventional trust companies do not. We believe this provides the following advantages:

• Many trust deeds require a minimum of two (or more) trustees, unless the Trustee is a Trust Corporation
• We can deal with property transactions without the need for other trustees
• Trust Corporations offer greater security given the required capitalisation
• The Pension Regulator often requires the appointment of a Trust Corporation
• Trust Corporations can be expected to be at the best practice end of Pension scheme governance and professionalism
• Sponsors, co trustees and members should gain further confidence through the appointment of a Trust Corporation
