Morag Williams
Morag has a long and varied experience within the pensions industry. She worked for the Prudential Group Pensions Department in the 1970s, then with Noble Lowndes as a technical consultant. Moving to work in house with a large food manufacturing company in 1990, Morag progressed from assistant pension manager to pension manager. After the administration was outsourced Morag worked with the new provider, Jardine Lloyd Thompson, for a short time. In 2001 she joined the consultancy, Dunnett Shaw, and over the last six years managed or was involved with many projects including procurement of advisers, administration reviews, strategic consultancy and trustee training.
She was also involved with the subcommittee of the PMI that designed and planned seminars for the Institute and spoke at as well as chaired some of those events.
Specialist Subjects
Morag now undertakes various roles including technical support to other consultants, procurement projects and secretariat services.
She is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute, a member of the PRAG/PMI Working Party on Pensions Terminology and has worked closely with the Pensions Regulator on the development of some of the Codes of Practice
