Raising standards & understanding

With the introduction of Trustee Knowledge and Understanding (TKU), effective trustee training - covering scheme specifics, pensions generally and other matters as prescribed from time to time - has never been more high profile.  Having regard to this and the need for trustees to be "conversant", Pi's philosophy in respect of training is simple - it should be targeted to deal with real issues and considerations.  Thus, we believe that training should be tailored to the individual needs and requirements of individual trustee bodies and (wherever possible) make use of the services of the advisers who have familiarity with the circumstances of each scheme.

However, constructing an effective learning environment for trustees who, inevitably, have different levels of knowledge and experience requires the help of someone expert in this field.
